Oatmeal peanut butter almond coconut bars are a very healthy snack for before and after your training. You can eat them in-between your meals for a light snack. And they will keep you full for a long time.
They have Protein, Dietary Fiber, Iron, Calcium, Carbohydrate, Vitamin B-6, Zinc, Sugar, Magnesium, Fats, and more.
There are many different ways to make them , and you can custom them anyway you want. from any sort of nuts , dried fruit , seeds, bananas, and chocolate chips.
This is how I like to make mine, all you need is…
1 cup of peanut butter (try to get pure peanut butter)
1/2 cup of honey
3 cups of oatmeal (old fashioned rolled oats)
1 cup of almond
1 cup of shredded coconuts
Get the almonds, put them in a ziplock bag and crush them up ( I find that using a bread roller works best).
Put oatmeal, almonds, and shredded coconuts in a bowl and mix them well.
Put the peanut butter and honey in a pan, put the heat on low and stir until soft.
When the mixture is soft put it in the bowl with the oatmeal, almonds, and shredded coconuts. Mix everything well together.
Pre heat the oven to 180 celsius. While the oven is heating, put the mixture in the oven pan, cover the whole pan with the mix and press it down.
When the oven is done heating, put the pan in for 20 minutes.
When its done baking take it out,
When it comes out of the oven its still soft, let it cool for about an hour.
Then enjoy!!
